The question centered on whether finding reconciliation and salvation in Jesus alone is the ultimate goal or if there’s more to our walk with God. This article explores the importance of growth in faith, obedience, and discipleship, highlighting the need for a grace-driven life of sanctification.
The Foundation of Faith
The statement of faith rightly emphasizes God’s love, our sinfulness, His holiness, and the redemption plan through Jesus Christ (Romans 3:24-25). However, as my friend astutely observed, there’s more to our faith journey than just accepting the Gospel message. We must build upon this foundation, pursuing holiness and commitment to our spiritual growth (Hebrews 12:14).
Grace-Driven Life
A grace-driven life is essential for deepening our relationship with God. This journey involves prayer, studying His Word, fellowship with believers, and surrendering our lives to His will (2 Peter 3:18).
