This article explores the connections between a prior civilization, the Flood, fallen angels, demons, and the nature of spirits, offering a fresh understanding of the complex relationships between science, faith, and the biblical narrative.
The Prior Civilization and the Flood
Scientific evidence suggests that life on Earth dates back billions of years, contradicting the traditional biblical timeline. However, what if a prior civilization existed, was destroyed by God, and its remains fossilized? This catastrophic event, recorded in the biblical account of the Flood (Genesis 6-9), reset humanity’s trajectory, leaving behind a legacy of fossilized remains.
Fallen Angels, Demons, and Spirits
The “watchers” (fallen angels) and their offspring (spirits) were barred from returning to Heaven after the Flood, seeking habitation in humans instead. These spirits, created by the watchers and human parents, became demons, seeking to occupy human bodies. In contrast, fallen angels, being pure spirits, do not seek habitation, as it would limit their abilities.
