Introduction
The Bible teaches us that God equips what He anoints, enabling whatever He requires to manifest. This truth is beautifully illustrated in Exodus 31:1-7, where God chooses and equips Bezalel and other skilled workers to construct the tabernacle according to His specifications.
God’s Enablement and Resourcefulness
God’s enablement and resourcefulness are boundless. He possesses wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and skills in supernatural abundance, and He can deploy or dispense them as needed. This means that whenever God calls someone to a task or assignment, He also equips them with the necessary abilities and resources to accomplish it.
The Example of Bezalel
Bezalel’s story is a powerful example of God’s empowerment. God chose Bezalel to oversee the construction of the tabernacle’s intricate details, including the lampstand and courtyard. To fulfill this task, God filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and all kinds of skills (Exodus 31:2-5). This divine enablement allowed Bezalel to excel in his role and create something truly remarkable.
Implications for Us
The story of Bezalel has significant implications for us today. When faced with challenges or tasks that seem insurmountable, we can trust that God will equip us with the necessary resources and abilities. Whether it’s filling a vacant role, orchestrating an event, or serving in a particular ministry, God is the ultimate source of empowerment.
Turning to God
In a world where we often rely on our own abilities and resources, it’s essential to remember that God is the one who calls and equips His people. When we turn to Him, we can experience His boundless enablement and resourcefulness.
Reflection and Prayer
As we reflect on God’s empowerment, let’s ask ourselves:
– How have we seen God gift people to do His work?
– What has He equipped us to do?
– How can we trust in God’s enablement and resourcefulness as we face challenges and opportunities?
By recognizing God’s empowerment and equipping, we can experience the fullness of His power and presence in our lives.
Conclusion
In conclusion, God’s empowerment is a powerful reality that can transform our lives and ministries. By trusting in His enablement and resourcefulness, we can accomplish great things and bring glory to His name. As the Bible says, “I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded” (Exodus 31:6). Let’s trust in God’s empowerment and equipping, and watch Him work wonders in and through us.
