As I celebrate with you on this momentous occasion, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the profound impact you’ve had on my life over the past 35 years. Your unwavering support, guidance, and love have been a constant source of strength, and I am thankful that God brought us together. You have been more than just mentors or friends; you have been my guardian angels, standing in the gap for me during times of overwhelming failure and tribulation. Your faithfulness as ministers of God has been a beacon of hope, illuminating the darkness and offering me a ray of light in my despair.
Your selfless acts of kindness have been a testament to your living sacrifice and witness before God. You have fed me when I was struggling financially, provided a roof over my head when I needed it most, and shown me what it means to live a life of service and devotion. As I enter this new season of ministry, I am experiencing joy, fulfillment, contentment, and creative abundance. Your influence has been instrumental in my transformation, and I am forever grateful. Thank you for being a shining example of God’s love and grace. May your 47th wedding anniversary be a celebration of the countless lives you’ve touched, including mine. May your love continue to be a source of inspiration, and may God bless you with many more years of happiness, health, and ministry together.
The Life Record of Professor and Mrs. Iwarere
Sincere appreciation to the Iwarere Family, my guardian family since relocating from Tallahassee, Florida to Washington D.C. as a policy analyst. After a traumatic car accident in South Carolina, where a family of three perished, Professor Iwarere arranged for my apartment and care, while Mrs. Iwarere nurtured me until my wife joined me. This marked the beginning of their unwavering support.
As an elder at Forcey Memorial Church, Professor Iwarere ensured my spiritual growth through regular attendance and participation in services, Bible studies, and activities. The Iwarere Family was the core of a vibrant Nigerian community at the Church, and we shared life’s milestones: birthdays, anniversaries, naming ceremonies, funerals, graduations, and weddings. Our families flourished, and our children graduated from high school and college. We shared fellowship, celebrations, and occasional sorrow. I’m grateful for the Iwarere Family’s enabling and catalytic roles, fostering a supportive community that made our journey memorable. Their kindness and care will always be cherished.
The Iwarere Family: A Pillar of Support and Encouragement
The Iwarere Family has been a constant presence in my life, and many others, even when we faced trials and tribulations. Their faithfulness, consistency, and steadfast care have been a beacon of hope. Living up to the meaning of their name, “Good character,” they have demonstrated unwavering support and encouragement.
Several instances illustrate their selfless nature:
1. When my daughter Lola struggled after high school, Professor Iwarere supported us, and later, he helped resettle her with Professor Afolabi’s family in Indianapolis, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business.
2. During a court case with my younger daughter Modupe, Professor and Mrs. Iwarere’s presence in the courtroom gave me strength and calmness.
3. When I suffered a spiritual attack affecting my intellect, Professor Iwarere included my name in his academic articles to cover for my inability to research.
4. When I became suicidal, he encouraged me and helped me find hope.
5. After my wife’s passing, Professor Iwarere launched a letter-writing campaign to find a family to care for me, leading to Professor Odemerho’s family taking me in for two years.
6. When my second daughter passed away, Professor Iwarere helped with funeral arrangements.
Now, in my healing and transformation phase, the Iwarere Family continues to show care and concern, with Mrs. Iwarere sending me care packages. Their unwavering support has been a testament to their good character, and I am forever grateful. Moreover, their selfless actions have been a testament to their good character, and I am forever grateful. The Iwarere Family has been a shining example of what it means to live out one’s faith in practical ways. They have demonstrated that true friendship and community involve showing up, supporting, and encouraging one another through life’s ups and downs.
In a world where many people are quick to abandon others in times of trouble, the Iwarere Family has stood firm, exemplifying the values of loyalty, compassion, and kindness. Their presence in my life has been a reminder that I am not alone, and that there are still good people who care. As I continue my journey of healing and transformation, I am thankful for the Iwarere Family’s ongoing support and encouragement. They have shown me that with faith, hope, and the right people by your side, you can overcome even the darkest of times.
