God’s Grace Sustains His Glory and Magnifies His Supremacy and Sovereignty

The Bible teaches that God’s grace is not only a gift to humanity, but also a means by which He sustains His own glory and magnifies His supremacy and sovereignty. In Romans 8:28, the Apostle Paul writes, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
This verse reveals that God’s sovereignty is not limited to the grand events of history, but extends to the smallest details of our lives. He works all things together for our good, and in doing so, He upholds and magnifies His own glory.
The Greatest Love
The greatest love is not human love, but God’s love for us. This love is demonstrated in His giving Himself to us for our eternal enjoyment, at the cost of His Son’s life (Romans 8:32). This is what He means when He says that He loves us and forgives us for His own name’s sake (1 John 2:12).
God’s love is not motivated by human worthiness or merit, but by His own character and nature. He loves us because He is love (1 John 4:8), and He forgives us for His own name’s sake. This means that our salvation and forgiveness are not based on our own efforts or achievements, but solely on God’s grace and mercy.
God’s Glory and Supremacy
God’s glory and supremacy are fundamental to His nature and character. He is the Creator of the universe, and all things exist for His pleasure and glory (Revelation 4:11). His supremacy is not limited to the physical universe, but extends to the spiritual realm, where He reigns supreme over all principalities and powers (Ephesians 1:21).
God’s glory is not just a theoretical concept, but a living reality that is experienced by those who know Him. In heaven, we will see God’s glory in all its fullness, and it will be the source of our eternal joy and happiness.
