Morning Prayer of Surrender and Supplication

Heavenly Father,

We come before You this morning, acknowledging Your majesty and power. As the Psalmist declares, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). In the midst of travail, discouragement, and fears that weigh heavily on our hearts, we turn to You, the Author of peace and Giver of every good gift.

Recall Your Promises, Lord
You calmed the raging sea with a word (Matthew 8:26), subdued the fiery furnace so that not a hair was singed (Daniel 3:27), bridled the lions’ rage to protect Your faithful ones (Daniel 6:22), and ceased wars, saying, “Peace, be still” (Mark 4:39). You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We claim Your promises of protection, peace, and provision in our lives.

Ask for Peace and Deliverance
Lord, grant us Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Deliver us from evil (Matthew 6:13), and shield us from its schemes in our land.

Heal Our Land
As You said, “I will restore health to you and heal your wounds” (Jeremiah 30:17), we pray for healing for our nation, our communities, and our families. Turn hearts toward Yourself, and let Your kingdom come, Your will be done (Matthew 6:10).

Surrender and Trust
We surrender our fears, doubts, and worries to You, knowing You are our Rock and our Salvation (Psalm 18:2). Help us trust in Your sovereignty, even when we don’t understand.

Blessing and ProtectionMay Your angels encamp around us (Psalm 34:7). May Your favor be upon us, and may Your peace guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Amen.
