The Ultimate Sacrifice
God’s sacrifice of Jesus Christ is the ultimate expression of His love and redemption (John 3:16). This act demonstrates the gravity of sin and the extent of God’s mercy (Romans 5:8). Christ’s sacrifice reconciles us to God, forgiving our sins and reconciling us to Himself (2 Corinthians 5:18-21).
Forms of Sacrifice
Sacrifice is not limited to Jesus’ crucifixion. Our lives are considered a living sacrifice, dedicated to God’s service (Romans 12:1). We offer spiritual sacrifices, including:
