A heartfelt intercessory prayer from Dr. David Obatomi

A heartfelt intercessory prayer by Dr. David Obatomi

Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a heart of reverence and humility in committing to you brother Isaac Megbolugbe. I offer this prayer in faith, total surrender, and trust.

Anointing of the Holy Spirit:

Lord, I humbly ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon brother Isaac each day. May Your anointing rest upon him, empowering him to walk in Your truth, wisdom, and love. Increase the influence of Your Spirit in his life, guiding his thoughts, words, and actions. Fill him with Your power so that he may be a vessel of Your grace and a witness to Your goodness.

Strengthening of the Body:

Heavenly Father, I submit his physical being to You and ask that You strengthen his body of flesh and blood and that it may be more aligned with the sacred requirements of Your Holy Spirit. Help him overcome any weakness, weariness, or temptation that would draw him away from Your holy purposes. Let his body be a temple, prepared and holy for Your dwelling, fully surrendered to Your will.

Discipline in Abiding in Christ:

Everlasting Father, Grant him the discipline to abide daily in the True Vine—Jesus Christ—as a faithful branch. Help him to remain connected to You in all that he does, drawing strength, wisdom, and nourishment from Your life-giving presence. Let him be steadfast in his faith and bear fruit that glorifies You, showing the world that he is truly Your disciple.

Stillness and Worship of Thanksgiving:

Father God, teach brother Isaac to find stillness in Your presence. In the quiet moments, help him remember to give You thanks and worship with a heart full of gratitude.

Daily Surrender and Submission:

Lord, I pray that brother Isaac will continue to offer himself to You as a living sacrifice—holy, acceptable, and pleasing in Your sight. May he walk in daily surrender and submission to Your will, that he might be a living witness of holy integrity before the Thrones of Heaven. Strengthen his resolve to live in obedience to You, that his life may be a testimony of Your righteousness and grace.

In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
