A Living Witness for the Kingdom of God: Shining Bright in the Sunset of Life

As I reflect on my life’s journey, now in my 70s, I am filled with gratitude and awe at the goodness, grace, and love of God in Christ Jesus. My life has become a living witness to the power and faithfulness of God, and I am committed to sharing this witness with others. My motto, inspired by Philippians 1:21, is “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”

My witness ministry takes many forms:

1. Memoirs and Autobiography: I am writing my life story, highlighting God’s faithfulness and goodness.

2. GIVA Apologetics Ministry: I engage in apologetics, defending and sharing the Christian faith.

3. Care Ministry: I support and care for relatives and friends, demonstrating God’s love.

4. Compassion International: I support this organization, which shares God’s love with children worldwide.

5. Business Advisory Work: I apply my development ethos, inspired by God’s principles, in my business endeavors.

I am encouraged by the promise of Jesus to empower believers to be eyewitnesses of His work (Acts 1:8). Cece Winans’ song lyrics resonate with me: “Cause all my life You have been faithful And all my life You have been so, so good… I will sing of the goodness of God.”

As I write my memoirs, I see the good work of God in my life, accomplished through the Holy Spirit’s ministry. God has preserved physical evidence of His work, such as the radar-captured lightning strike that set my house ablaze, only for the firefighters to find out that flames had been extinguished before they got to my house.

In these sunset days of my life, I am committed to shining bright, sharing the goodness of God with others. I am a living witness to the power and love of God, and I pray that my life will inspire others to do the same.

The Power of a Living Witness

As I continue on this journey, I am reminded of the importance of being a living witness for the Kingdom of God. A living witness is someone who has experienced the transformative power of God’s love and grace and is committed to sharing that experience with others.

In my life, I have seen God’s faithfulness and goodness in countless ways. From the miraculous preservation of my life during the lightning strike to the countless ways He has guided and directed me throughout my journey, I am constantly reminded of His presence and power.

But being a living witness is not just about sharing our personal experiences; it’s also about demonstrating God’s love and character in our daily lives. It’s about being a reflection of His grace, mercy, and compassion in a world that desperately needs it.

As I engage in my various ministries, I am constantly aware of the need to be a living witness. Whether it’s through my writing, my apologetics ministry, or my care ministry, I strive to demonstrate God’s love and character in all that I do.

And I am not alone. There are countless others who are also committed to being living witnesses for the Kingdom of God. Together, we can make a difference in the world, shining bright with the light of God’s love and grace.

Conclusion

As I look back on my life’s journey, I am filled with gratitude and awe at the goodness, grace, and love of God in Christ Jesus. I am committed to continuing to be a living witness for the Kingdom of God, shining bright in the sunset of my life.

I pray that my story will inspire others to do the same, to share their own experiences of God’s faithfulness and goodness with others. Together, we can create a ripple effect of God’s love and grace that will spread far and wide, touching hearts and lives in ways we cannot even imagine.

The Impact of a Living Witness

As a living witness for the Kingdom of God, I have seen firsthand the impact that it can have on others. When we share our personal experiences of God’s faithfulness and goodness, it can:

– Inspire hope and encouragement in those who are struggling

– Provide evidence of God’s existence and love

– Demonstrate the transformative power of God’s grace

– Create a sense of community and connection among believers

– Challenge others to deepen their own faith and relationship with God

Moreover, being a living witness can also have a profound impact on our own lives. It can:

– Deepen our own faith and relationship with God

– Give us a sense of purpose and direction

– Provide opportunities for growth and spiritual development

– Allow us to experience the joy and fulfillment of serving others

– Leave a lasting legacy that continues to inspire and impact others long after we’re gone

As I reflect on my own life and ministry, I am reminded of the importance of being a living witness. It’s not just about what we say or do; it’s about who we are and how we live our lives. When we embody the love, grace, and character of God, we become a powerful witness to His presence and power in the world.

Let us all strive to be living witnesses for the Kingdom of God, shining bright with the light of His love and grace in a world that desperately needs it.
