Introduction
As ministers in the Body of Christ, we are called to serve as messengers of God’s love, grace, and truth to a world in need. We are ordained to proclaim the Gospel, to teach, to guide, and to shepherd God’s people. In this sacred role, we often cry out to God for empowerment, guidance, and wisdom. The phrase “More unction to function as God’s ordained Oracle” captures the essence of this cry.
Understanding the Cry for More Unction
The word “unction” refers to a divine anointing or empowerment that enables us to fulfill our role as ministers of the Gospel. When we pray for more unction, we are asking God to increase our capacity to serve Him effectively. We are acknowledging that our sufficiency is not in ourselves but in God’s power and grace.
Functioning as God’s Ordained Oracle
As ministers, we are called to function as God’s ordained oracles. An oracle is a messenger or spokesperson who conveys the words and wisdom of another. In this case, we are tasked with speaking on behalf of God, proclaiming His truth, and guiding His people according to His will.
The Importance of Divine Empowerment
Without divine empowerment, we are limited in our ability to serve God effectively. We may have knowledge, skills, and experience, but without the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we will fall short of fulfilling our calling. The Bible reminds us that “God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength” (1 Corinthians 1:25).
A Prayer for More Unction
As ministers, we can pray with confidence, asking God to grant us more unction to fulfill our role as His ordained oracles. We can ask Him to:
– Anoint us with the Holy Spirit: Grant us a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit, empowering us to speak with boldness, wisdom, and love.
– Guide us in our proclamation: Guide us as we proclaim the Gospel, giving us words of wisdom and insight that will touch the hearts of those who hear us.
– Empower us to shepherd His people: Empower us to shepherd His people with love, compassion, and wisdom, helping them to grow in their faith and become all that God has called them to be.
The Promise of Divine Empowerment
As we pray for more unction, we can trust in the promise of divine empowerment. The Bible reminds us that “the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord” (Isaiah 11:2). When we are empowered by the Holy Spirit, we will be equipped to fulfill our role as God’s ordained oracles, proclaiming His truth and guiding His people with wisdom and love.
Conclusion
The phrase “More unction to function as God’s ordained Oracle” is a powerful reminder of our dependence on God’s empowerment as ministers. As we pray for more unction, we are acknowledging our limitations and surrendering to God’s will. May we be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, empowered to proclaim the Gospel, and guided to shepherd God’s people with wisdom and love.

“Happy Easter Sunday celebration daddy. More unction to function as God’s ordained Oracle, to keep speaking grace to the hearers. I pray, your strength will not fail you, your vision will not go dim and your wisdom as the water covers the sea in Jesus mighty name.”
