Introduction

Wise living involves thinking, choosing, acting, and reacting within the framework of reality and boundaries of realm and nature. It’s dangerous to dwell in ambiguity or trespass foolishly, partly because laws and mechanisms of consequences are inherently embedded in nature.

The universal governing proposition “whatever we sow, we reap” shapes reality, circumstances, situations, and ultimate outcomes. The fruits of our lives flow from how we utilize the free will that God gave humanity, which is where the authority humanity has comes from.

Understanding the truth of God’s Word is the beginning of wisdom needful for godly living. Without it, we’re subject to deception and ultimately wrongdoing and bad living with evil and terrible outcomes.

The author shares a personal testimony of experiencing spiritual attacks and finding protection through faith in God. At 17, he chose to follow Christ and have since experienced God’s protection and providence.

Key takeaways:

– Wise living involves operating within God’s boundaries and truth

– Free will gives us authority, but God’s sovereignty guides our lives

– Understanding God’s Word is key to wisdom and godly living

– Faith in God can bring protection and providence in challenging situations

The author’s story highlights the importance of trusting in God’s sovereignty and authority, and the benefits of living a life guided by wisdom and faith.

A Journey of Faith: The Story of Isaac Megbolugbe

Isaac Megbolugbe’s life is a testament to the power of faith and the sovereignty of God. Born into a world of spiritual darkness, Isaac faced relentless attacks from evil forces from a young age. As a 17-year-old college student, he suffered physical and spiritual torment, with bodily signs of attack every morning.

Seeking answers, Isaac consulted with his mother and church leaders, who advised him to take up arms and borrow power. But Isaac refused, choosing instead to trust in God’s protection. In a bold declaration, he chose Christ as his Lord and Savior, willing to suffer or die if God couldn’t protect him.

From that day in 1969, God manifestly protected Isaac from attacks. He survived motor car accidents, lightning strikes, and countless spiritual battles. As he grew in faith, Isaac came to understand that his authority came not from his own power, but from God’s sovereignty.

Today, Isaac is a firm believer in God’s sovereignty and divine governance. He attributes his protection and providence to his faith in God and his commitment to living a life guided by God’s Word.

Key milestones in Isaac’s journey:

– 1969: Chose Christ as Lord and Savior amidst spiritual attacks

– Survived motor car accidents and lightning strikes

– Grounded himself in God’s sovereignty and Word

– Became a leader in his church and community

Isaac’s story is a powerful reminder that faith in God can bring protection, providence, and purpose in life’s darkest moments. His journey inspires us to trust in God’s sovereignty and authority, and to live a life guided by wisdom and faith.

Clarity on Spiritual Governance: Understanding the Forces at Play

The world is a battleground between two forces: God and the devil. Human beings are caught in the middle, with a choice to make. We don’t have power like God or the devil, but we have authority. And if we give our authority to God, He intervenes in our lives and circumstances.

The idea that witchcraft is only prevalent in certain cultures or regions is a misconception. Witchcraft is alive and well in America, packaged differently and often accepted as harmless. But make no mistake, all witchcraft is bad, and it’s all connected to the devil.

The devil’s goal is to steal, kill, and destroy. He’s been working tirelessly to corrupt humanity, and our society is reaping the consequences. But we have a choice. We can give our authority to God, or we can give it to the devil. The outcome will be vastly different.

Many people are deceived into thinking they’re self-sufficient, that they don’t need God or the devil. But that’s a lie. Human beings are wired to worship, and if we don’t worship God, we’ll worship something else. The Bible says, “There’s something in every human being that’s supposed to worship God.”

The problem is, many people’s idea of God is shaped by human precepts, not biblical truth. If we don’t ground ourselves in the Bible, we’ll be deceived and worship a god that’s not the God of the Bible.

Bad things happen to people, but it’s not always the devil’s doing. Sometimes, we’re reaping what we’ve sown. The Bible says, “Whatever you sow, you reap.” But God’s grace and mercy can overturn even generations of consequences.

The key is to give our authority to God and trust in His sovereignty. When we do, He intervenes in our lives and circumstances, bringing protection, provision, and purpose.

The Power of Intentional Surrender: Giving Authority to God

Giving our authority to God with intentionality is a gamechanger. When we surrender to God’s lordship, we tap into His power and wisdom. But what are the implications of this intentional surrender?

Protection from Spiritual Attacks

When we give our authority to God, we become protected from spiritual attacks. The devil can’t just do whatever he wants with us. We become off-limits, and God’s power surrounds us.

Freedom from Fear and Anxiety

Surrendering to God brings freedom from fear and anxiety. We no longer have to worry about what tomorrow brings because God is in control. We can rest in His sovereignty and provision.

Alignment with God’s Will

Giving our authority to God aligns us with His will. We start to see things from His perspective, and our desires change. We want what God wants, and we’re willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill His plan.

Empowerment for Living

Intentional surrender empowers us to live a life that’s pleasing to God. We receive the Holy Spirit’s guidance and strength, enabling us to overcome sin and live a life of purpose.

Divine Intervention

When we give our authority to God, He intervenes in our circumstances. He brings people, resources, and opportunities into our lives to help us fulfill His plan.

Spiritual Growth and Maturity

Surrendering to God promotes spiritual growth and maturity. We learn to trust Him more, and our faith is strengthened.

Protection from Consequences

Giving our authority to God protects us from the consequences of our own mistakes. He helps us avoid pitfalls and guides us through challenging situations.

Fulfillment of Purpose

Intentional surrender helps us fulfill our purpose. We become part of God’s bigger plan, and our lives have meaning and significance.

The opposite of giving our authority to God is defaulting to the devil. When we do that, we open ourselves up to spiritual attacks, fear, anxiety, and sin. We become vulnerable to the devil’s schemes and miss out on God’s best.

The choice is ours and so are the consequences. We can give our authority to God and experience the benefits of intentional surrender, or we can default to the devil and face the consequences. What’s your choice?
