These virtues aren’t just feelings or actions; they’re the natural outflow of a life surrendered to God. In 2026, I’m focusing on:
– Love: Reflecting God’s love to those around me
– Joy: Choosing joy, even in challenging circumstances
– Peace: Trusting God to guide me and give me peace
– Patience: Waiting on God’s timing and trusting His plan
– Kindness: Showing compassion and kindness to others
– Goodness: Demonstrating God’s goodness in my words and actions
– Faithfulness: Remaining steadfast and loyal to God
– Gentleness: Embracing humility and gentleness in my relationships
– Self-control: Yielding to God’s Spirit and exercising self-control
The Gifts of the Spirit
I’m also open to being blessed with the gifts of the Spirit, which empower me to serve and witness to the Lord. In 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, we’re reminded that these gifts are given for the common good, and I’m eager to discover and deploy my gifts for God’s glory.

The Bible calls the fruits of the Holy Spirit gifts (Galatians 5:22-23). They’re not something we produce on our own, but rather the natural outflow of abiding in Christ.
