GIVA Ministry Declaration of Faith

GIVA Ministry Declaration of Faith

This is a short article of declaration for the Life of Faith Project that explores how believers can bypass secular literary theory and the manipulative lexicons of modern culture. By anchoring your memoir in the objective truth of God’s Word, you reclaim your cognitive freedom, achieving redemption, restoration, and a unified self congruent with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Reclaiming the Narrative: Biblical Truth vs. The Lexicons of Deception

The Illusion of Authorial Control and Secular Literary Theory

In contemporary culture, post-modern and secular literary theories often attempt to seize ownership of personal language. They construct a “lexicon of deception”—sometimes described as the modern manifestations of Baal—that gaslights believers into surrendering their autobiographical narratives. When secular theories define your story, your life encounters are partitioned and subjected to faulty, worldly frameworks. The narratives we consume and construct are deeply tied to how we understand ourselves. Believers should fully embrace their identity as children of God.

The Supremacy of Scriptural Reality

As believers, we know that the Scriptures dictate and own reality. While worldly philosophies treat truth as a social construct, the Bible teaches that God’s truth is absolute, authoritative, and unchanging. When you document your life encounters, you have total cognitive freedom because your experiences are not ultimately defined by worldlypowers or literary theorists. The reality you live in is established by God Himself, as referenced in scriptural breakdowns regarding how  Jesus Christ has established reality by his birth, life, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension.

Redeeming the Raw Materials of Your Life

The truth of God’s Word acts as the divine mechanism that processes the raw materials of your life. Instead of being trapped in a narrative dictated by the world, you can reap reconstruction, redemption, and restoration through the Scriptures. Every memory, trial, and triumph can be documented and understood under the overarching grace and sovereignty of God, preventing past traumas from controlling your identity. As a unified self, your cognition, your emotions, your visions both from your imagination and dreams and promptings of the Holy Spirit are part of the same reality that should not be allowed to be fragmented for purposes of gas lighting your testimony.

Living as a Unified Self in Christ

This paradigm shift allows you to live authentically as a unified self in a unified reality. By aligning your personal narrative with the divine narrative, your existence becomes congruent with the Triune God—the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Embracing this truth empowers you to live out the life your heart was created for, similar to the existential reflections about honoring the inner calling of your soul.

Conclusion

Your memoir belongs to you, and when surrendered to the Ultimate Author, it becomes a beautiful testimony of His grace. Stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, rejecting the manipulative lexicons and post-modern theories that seek to hijack your story.
