Here Comes 2026: A New Year to Regroup and Relaunch
As I bid farewell to 2025, I’m reminded of the twists and turns life can take. What began as a year of ambitious plans and productivity took an unexpected turn with a jarring diagnosis: my immune system was compromised, with bacterial loads comparable to those in human corpses. Astonishingly, I wasn’t symptomatic, but the wake-up call was clear.
A rigorous regimen of antibiotics, nutritional overhaul, and multiple medical procedures – including dental implants and cataract surgeries – followed. My “season of broken body” may be ending, but the aftermath has taken its toll. Stamina and energy levels plummeted, forcing me to pause everything.
Enter 2026: a year of healing, recovery, and relaunch. My immediate focus? Rebuilding strength at the gym and reigniting vibrant energy. With gratitude, I’ll leverage this new chapter to regroup, refocus, and relaunch into the projects and passions that drive me.
Thanks for your prayers and encouragement.
As I embark on this new chapter, here are some Bible verses that I have embraced to inspire and guide me:
Healing and Restoration
– “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).
– “I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 30:17).
– “He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed” (1 Peter 2:24).
Strength and Renewal
– “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
– “I can do all this through him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13).
– “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10).
Guidance and Purpose
– “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'” (Jeremiah 29:11).
– “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
– “He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake” (Psalm 23:3).
May these verses continue to bring me comfort, strength, and guidance as I navigate 2026.
