According to the Holy Scriptures, living above our circumstances by faith is the key to a stress-free life. As believers, joy and rejoicing are meant to be our norm, not stress and strain (Psalm 30:5, NIV). Temporary challenges are intended to rebalance our lives, not imprison us (Isaiah 55:12).
Self-awareness and embracing our identity as God’s redeemed are essential to living stress-free. We must lean into God’s promises, which sustain our hope and orchestrate our perseverance. Our circumstances do not define us; our identity in Christ does.
The Bible reminds us that our struggles are temporary, but God’s joy lasts forever (Psalm 30:5, NIV). Knowing who we are in the Lord helps us distance ourselves from stress and its manifestations (Isaiah 55:12). We are sons and daughters of God, redeemed and indwelt by Him (1 Corinthians 3:16).
Let us prioritize ourselves, value ourselves, and lean on the Lord, the beginner and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). His joy is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10, KJV), and with it, we can overcome any challenge.
