SUBJECT: The Blueprint of Divine Affection: Navigating the Geographies, Congruence, and Freedom of God’s Love
Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing this to you because you were chosen by God to play a vital role in a divine masterpiece. For decades, He quietly and deliberately cast the members of our family in a living reenactment of timeless divine scripts, much like those articulated in the Parable of the Prodigal Son and the Burning Bush Mandate. He did this not to punish us, but to use the raw material of our lived experiences as a prototype of His redemption architecture for humanity. We were chosen to be a living laboratory—a masterclass to disciple modern-day humanity in the depths of grace, fracture, and spectacular homecoming.
This letter introduces the fourth book in a divine 10-book mandate. Book 3, which was published last week, serves as a profound narrative of spiritual metamorphosis. It illustrates how the unfiltered experiences of human life are refined through the lens of scripture, tracing a transformative evolution from initial confusion and brokenness to a state of unified identity and cognitive freedom, anchored firmly in the reality of sonship.
Before God could issue me His mandate, He had to break me completely to spiritually reconstruct and transform me. Book 3 explores this process of transitioning from brokenness to sonship through a journey of self-discovery. It details the nature of His love—a love that disciplined me throughout my life to conform me to the character of His Son, Jesus Christ. Through this, I gained an enlightened understanding of the contrasting treatments of Esau and Jacob: Esau received worldly blessings, but Jacob received the divine discipline that transformed him from a deceiver to a Prince.
This same profound, refining love has defined my lifelong journey, and it is the central subject of Book 4. It took me until my “70-plus” season of life to begin to truly understand the geography of God’s love. I first had to understand my lifelong proclivities to love as unto the Lord. Now, I have gained tremendous clarity about God Himself, who is love, and how all forms of love originate from Him. Within this context, I have come to understand that righteous romantic love operates exclusively within the framework of the marriage covenant.
The confusion, contradiction, and paradoxes I experienced regarding love in my past have now cleared. Because of this revelation, I can share what I have learned with the next generation, offering them the hope of redemption and restoration available to all modern-day humanity.
Thank you for being a vital part of these divine scripts and of this consequential spiritual transformation. Thank you for walking through the architecture of our redemption. We survived the story so that we could give humanity the blueprint for healing.
