In contrast, the Western approach, inspired by Socrates, emphasizes knowing the truth and prioritizes individual autonomy, justice, and the pursuit of happiness.
The Limitations of Both Approaches
While both approaches have contributed significantly to human progress, they also have limitations. The Eastern approach can lead to stagnation and a lack of innovation, while the Western approach can result in individualism and material success at the expense of spiritual growth and community.

Jesus Christ offers a complete synthesis of wisdom, emphasizing both knowing the truth and doing right. He teaches us to prioritize God’s Word and guidance, recognizing that true wisdom and righteousness come from God alone.

2. Worship and Authority: Jesus is worthy of worship, having accomplished redemption and seated at God’s right hand.
3. Practical Application: Believers are called to seek Christ as the embodiment of wisdom, uniting intellectual understanding with saving faith.
